Lydia Williams married Edward Hall Q3 1924 Liverpool 8b 17

With this reference you will be able to order the marriage certificate online from  http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ This will give you the ages of the bride and groom, occupations and addresses.  Also their father's names and occupations and a couple of witnesses who might also be family members to help with the search.

Bridge Inn and Childwall Valley Road probably date from no earlier than 1920s.  Not much help, but it may fit in somehwere.
