OK I am working on logic here

1786 Richard Angwin m Jane Treveal St Buryan
1787 Jane
1788 Richard
1790 William
1792 George

1788 Richard Angwin m Honour Chirgwin  Madron
1788 Richard
1789 Honour
1799 Ann
1792 John
1797 Alice

The second Richard has a mother and sister called Honour, so it is logical that he would call a daughter Honour.

Richard and Elizabeth who married 1811 had four children it would seem as there are three with Elizabeth in the 1841 census - Richard, Margaret and John and Honour is married to a Mr Griffiths and has her own daughter Elizabeth.

Does this help ?

As you said probably the Honor Chirgwin one sounds more likely with Honor being in the childrens names.

I've been looking into the Richard and Jane marriage and their Richard was born 15 June 1788 St Buryan but my Richard was baptised 1 Dec 1788 Penzance do you think it definately wouldnt be him because that is a long time between birth and baptism? If that is the case then I think it is more likely to be the Richard and Honor one - typical isnt it to get the same name, same fathers name all in the same year!!! They dont make it easy do they!!! Thank you for your help

I would go for Richard and Honour because of the names link BUT we need to get some more opinions. Why dont you start a new thread and say what you are looking and give the two families  we have found and ask people what they think.

You could title it : Penzance baptism : opinions please.

That should get people looking.
