..under Convict Tales, then 'name of ship' and there she is in all her glory.

Thanks all for the info on Sarah. I do have the details of her sentenceing etc. I am really looking for her family in Dublin. Her father James is all I have, and that he was a tailor by trade. Also is there a good site  for Dublin as Im not familiar with Dublin and the parishes.  Ive looked at Gen.. and Wikapedia for some info. Ive found a bit of history but I need the parish names etc. Also Sarah was Roman Catholic.
Thanks all very much,
Bonnie :) ;)

link to a map of RC Dublin Parishes from the Irish Times

  http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/browse/counties/rcmaps/dublinrc.htm

and a link to Tailors in Slater's Commercial Directory of 1846 :

  http://www.failteromhat.com/slater/0334.pdf

No Gallagher's listed - but these directories only list the business owner, so James would not be mentioned if he was an employee.

Hi all,
I've found Sarah on the Australian Virtual Immegrants Wall of Honour, but its only has her some details. Ive also found her on the Gallagher Family web page, but alas, it doesn't have much on her either. I know she came from Dublin,m but what parish?
I'll keep looking
Thanks again all
Bonnie ;D :)

 :) Hi Tony,
Yes thats the family site, but my g grandmother isnt on it and Im looking for Sarah's journey from landing in Aust till her commonlaw marriage to John Chapman.  I have recently found another marriage for her:-
m Daniel STEARNE b1815 Suffolk Eng. they married 1841 Stinton NSW Aust. He died in 1868  and then Sarah married John Chapman that same year.
So Im peacing her life in Australia together. I don't know why she would end up in Kempsey (Euroka) ? Im also looking for her life prior to coming out here.
Thanks Tony
Cheers
Bonnie :)

Are you a descendant?  My records show she was from Birr, Ireland.
