I think I have found the answer. One of the witnesses to that 1798 marriage (John Oliver/Jane Shaw) was Elizabeth Hawgood.. who was also a witness to Jane's 1812 marriage to William Folder..and whose husband Samuel was a witness to the Wills of both John Oliver and William Folder.

So the 1798 marriage is very likely to be the one.
