Missing on 1871 Census
« on: Wednesday 23 February 05 20:39 GMT (UK) »
I have received such brilliant help on here in the past I really hope I'm not abusing by asking for further advice.

I have a Frances Ann Green born Mar qtr Manchester,Lancs 1851 (parents John and Elizabeth Green)
She married Thomas Elson in the June qtr of 1871 in Birmingham.
She is shown with Thomas on the 1881 Census in Birmingham and she died 2 years later in 1883, however I can't find her at all in 1871 when she would be 19/20.

Hope you can help
Regards
Sandra

Hi Sandra

Did you search with the name Fanny instead of Frances.   There is a 20year old Fanny Green Lodging in Manchester.

Cheers
Genni
