Hello looking at the census, I was wondering if it is an abbreviation for  Northamptonshire - looked there and there is a Warmington  :-\

Anna,
do you have a maiden name for your relative?
There is a servant born the same place but again- the writing is that bad it's hard to see what it really should be.

The servant 's name looks like William Walpole - fairly sure it is- 1861 has no clues  :-\

Could it be Nassington - first part 'North' being abbreviation of Northamptonshire?

I don't know what happened then- rootschat seemed to go down  ???

The son was baptised in Peterborough Northants - see Family Search. The census does say Peterborough for him but Hampshire I think?

Looking at a map - there is a place called Werrington not far from Peterborough.

Sadly there is no marriage for William and Catherine on Family Search - I also wondered if the servant William Walpole (?) was a relative but I can't find anything for a Catherine Walpole or William Walpole on F S either  :'(

looking at it closely, I really think it is a 'N' - there is a Nassington - what do you think?
