could you help me with the maiden name of ann it looks like twigg but that is not correct as i cant find any connections.
it looks more like an L
please any help would be greatfull

Hi Pauline
The family i am researching is the Campbell family Annie Quigg was the wife of Robert Campbell.
we have her on the 1891 census as 36rs old and Robert 35yrs old.
We have her on the 1901 census as 45yrs old and Robert as 44yrs old.
we also have her on the 1911 census as 54yrs old and robert as 55yrs old.
we were tracing Robert Campbell ,s father who is peter campbell born 1833 glasgow lanarkshire but only knew his wife as ann so we hit a brick wall after visiting Kew and reading through all his military papers.
So we were just curious to see where Annie Quigg came from to see the connection.but i cant find her with her father on any census.
sorry its so long winded,just looking for help.

But you've given us no geography. Where does she claim to have been born?
She's pretty consistent about age, so 1855(ish), but no mention of places.
