I’m just following up on this thread and my mum taught English to the Vietnamese boat people
Who were cared for at St Anne’s Home 1979-1982 - I have some
Photos of nun who was there plus the children. I’d love to hear from
Anyone else who knows anymore about the project? Or
Who still live in Chepstow (we moved away)

I believe my mum may have stayed in St Anne's in possibly 1976 1977. She went over from Northern Ireland and recalls staying in a convent in Chepstow before and after having given birth to a baby girl before giving her up for adoption. She stayed in touch with the adoptive family for a few years when she returned home who sent photos of the child (called sinead) to my mum. I'm hoping to connect with her as I feel it was hard for mum to give her child away. Anyone with any information get in touch
