Any infomation required on a the parents & siblings of Alfred Downie born c 1890 father a John Downie , and any information on the parents &siblings of
Mabel Kenny born c1894 father James Kenny, Alfred & Mabel married in 1916
in Farnham Surrey  is address is the cavalry Barracks Aldershot and Mabels address is Wheatland Lane Liverpool.

Are the occupations of the fathers given?
Who were the witnesses?
Was this a church or register office marriage?

I'm not having much luck finding them in 1901/1911.

I did find a James Kenny, newsagent, at 155 Wheatland Lane, Seacombe (nr. Liverpool), in a 1914 directory of Cheshire (www.historicaldirectories.org.uk), but nothing earlier for him (perhaps came over from Ireland?).

Thanks for Quick reply, i believe you may have hit the jackpot with James Kenny
On Alfred & Mabels marriage cert in 1916 James Kenny is down as a Soldier and the address of Mabel is Wheatland Rd Liverpool. Alfreds father was a Fireman.
