Cemetery lookup
« on: Tuesday 16 June 09 14:51 BST (UK) »
My ancestor Isaac Allerton, of the Mayflower,  was buried in New Haven, New Haven, CT.  There are several places they say he was buried; in The Old Burial Ground, Under the town common, in Grove Cemetery,  all in New Haven.
I have also read that he was reburied.  I have contacted the Historical Society the church, First Church, where he belonged and I don't get any significant information.  Any help would be greatly appreciated! :-*

Hi,  The previous details on his marriage appear to contradict itself.  His wife is also listed as Joanna Swinnerton born 1859 marr 1635 Marblehead Essex Massachusetts   Another report says 1607 London. I also think the Amsterdam is New York not Holland.  He may have married a number of times as he is listed with a number of different females.  Do you have the name of his parents, that may narrow it down. The same parents have come up a number of times, he also appears to have had five children.
