Hello Caroldawn
I take it getting that far back you've downloaded the Imrie wills from the ppv site
www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk. Free to register and look for wills but £5.00 each will/inventory download.
David Neil Imrie has wills and inventories - a total of 31 pages. Will cost £15.00 if not already downloaded.
Looks also that William had a middle name of Malcolm?
James the wood merchant also seems to have left a will.
Imrie James 12/05/1885 Wood Merchant, Kinrossie, d. 03/03/1885 at Kinrossie, intestate Perth Sheriff Court SC49/
I take it that you've also searched in Google Books for references to the above. There seem to be several - especially for DN or David Neil Imrie and the one below , possibly for your David Imrie ?
