westerman, salt lake city

i am new to this rootschat board, but wonder whether anyone out there could check for Jonathan Westerman b.1858 whitkirk, yorkshire ,england\;his wife EleanorB 1857 in york and 2 children thomas b. 1886, albert b. 1887. I cannot find them in England in 1901. They will have left after the 1891 census, moving from London. Salt Lake City is a guess, as there had been another Westerman from the same village moving there in the late 1700s earliy 1800s. Or could anyone check passenger list.

Any help would be much appreciated as I have come to a dead end!

I'm not finding any likely matches for them in the US, but you can check the 1900 Census and the Ellis Island records for free here:  http://labs.familysearch.org/

This may be them at 22 Purrett Rd, Plumstead, Kent, England 1901, family indexed as Westmore.

Westerman is what I see looking at the film.

This is what I see on the document:

Jonathan Westerman age 43, born Whitkirk, Yorkshire, works for Turner Steel (Arsenal)
Eleanor Westerman age 43, born Bishop Hill, Yorkshire
Thomas Westerman, age 15, Fitter's apprentice?, born ?hard to read, Kingsbury
Albert Westerman, age 14, Fitter's apprentice?, born Plumstead, Kent
Lilian Westerman, age 5, born Plumstead, Kent

thank you both for that information. In 1991 they were living in Plumstead, so I  think this is probably them in 1901. I had no luck tracing them in 1901-must have missed the obvious. at least mystery solved.
