1851 census - GRIFFITHS
« on: Friday 25 February 05 12:59 GMT (UK) »
Would any kind person be able to look up the following -

Thomas GRIFFITHS age  20

I know this is asking a great deal with the little info.I have

Could possibly be living in Dukestown which I believe was included in Breconshire for the 1851 census

If this is too difficult my apologies in advance.

thanks
Caroline :)

Dukestown is definitely in there but no Thomas Griffiths aged 20 or there abouts living in that area? However, there is a William Griffiths aged 20 living in that area with his parents and siblings ???

Hi Juliepen,

Thank you for the reply I was hoping to find Thomas in this census at Dukestown as he was living in Tredegar at the time of the 1861 census.

As yet I do not know if any of these are the one.  I am trying to find his place of birth on the monmouthshire 1861 census, I have requested someone to check it for me, hopefully I will have some luck!

I will get back to you if I find him to be from Breconshire

Thank you
Caroline :)
