Now on the maternal side and am lookingfor anyone who has researched the Pardoe family based in Staffordshire around 1890

In particular I have a Lydia Pardoe c. 1898

Do you have the 1901 census for Lydia? If not I have found a likely one, and can send you the details. Do you have her fathers name etc and I can go backwards on the census to see what I can find.

Hello Pardoe New to all this .but I have a relative who was killed in the bombing o f Leicester she was Iris Pardoe nee Spencer cousin to my Mother.Age 20 only wed 1 month do not know ahat happened to her husband.Must find out one day.Sylviao

Here is the 1901 census for Lydia age 2.

The birth registered that was registered in Stourbridge could be this girl.Stourbridge covers Halesowen which is listed as place of birth.
