F/Sgt J Anderson - 76 Squadron
« on: Sunday 12 July 09 08:18 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I am researching the crew of a RAF Halifax bomber that was shot down 25/4/44.
Can anyone help with any information about the crew.  In particular F/Sgt J Anderson (service No 1573409) who was the rear gunner and sole survivor of the crash. I know he is Scottish and enlisted in the RAF at Edinburgh. I have contacted the British Legion and RAF 76 Squadron Association but they have no record of him.

Details of the crews last operation can be seen on the website below.
