I am looking for any information on Robert Longson, born 1807/08 in New Mills Derbyshire.
If possible a birth record in the parish registers and parents names

Is this him in 1851 Whitfield Derbyshire.  If so - he was b Glossop on this census but New Mills on the 1861

All b Mottram Cheshire except Robert

Robert Longston 43  b Glossop draper & tailor employing 8 men
Frances 36 
John   12 
Sarah A   10 
Frances E 8 
John Clayton 73  father b Aston Lancs (possibly father in law)

In 1841 he is shown as Longson and living in Mottram Cheshire with wife and first 2 children shown above

I have the census info but hadnt found the IGI info so thanks very much for that!
Im trying to link Robert into my Longson line, I know he's there somewhere just havent figured it out yet which is why I wanted his parents names
