Recapping - I think that these are correct:

In 1851
Creigiog, Alltgymbyd*
HO107/2504/36/ 9

Francis
Thomas, 28, farmer of 4 acres, b. Llanferres
Mary, 26, farmer's wife
John,1, farmer's son
Evan, 1 month, farmer's son
Elizabeth Roberts, 14, house servant

others b. Llanarmon

* was part of Llanarmon yn Ial

1871:
Nant y Palinc, Llanarmon yn Ial, Eryrys
RG10/5660/13/18

Francis
Thomas, 49 lab., b.Llanferres
Mary, 46, b. Llanarmon
Edward, 10,  b. Llanarmon
Mary, 7, b. Llanaarmon
William, 3. b. Llanamon

Also in 1871, John Francis was at

Alltgymbyd Farm House, Llanarmon yn Ial
RG10/5659/30/3

Thomas Jones, 35, farmer employing 1 labourer and 1 boy, b. Llanferres
(and family and servants))
John Francis, servant, 21, farm servant, b. Llanarmon

I'm not sure of the 1881 because of John's other 'sisters' - Sarah and Harriet.

1891-1911 (in Easington as Frances) -you should have them all now, so it's just the 1881 and 1861.

Also, the closeness of Nercwys/Nerquis to Llanarmon yn Ial/Eryrys might confuse William about birth in Flintshire or Denbighshire:

I am having no luck with 1911 even using wild card
Gosh they are all very close. we were going  to Flint on holiday about 15 years ago all paid for and then my husband had a heart attack  the day be for and that knocked that on the head .Who knows I might have got to the bottom of all this and saved buying all these dud certs I am not convinced now that I have the right name for Williams father his  marriage cert to Jemima Spencer given the remarks on the bottom which must of been by the registrar

Audrey

They're there in Easington, both William and Jemima.  Use Jemima Frances b. 1872 +/- 3. Don't give any more details - just the name and broad age and residence Co. Durham

I used variant of surname and they both came up as Frances

PS - Paul will hopefully find the baptism

 :)

I've PMed Paul re the 1867 baptism in Llanarmon yn Ial so you should here in the next day or two to confirm parents as  Thomas Francis/Mary Edwards.

I can't find a death for Thomas at the moment - either Denbighshire/Flintshire or Durham. I might leave the age range out.

Nearest is 1879 Ruthin on North Wales BMD - no age so will check Freebmd (bit ols - he's 72  :-\  )

Hello again I couldn't see a baptism In Llanarmon for a William Francis around 1867.
On June 29 1860 there was an Edward s/o Thomas & Mary Francis :-\

Paul.
