(British) Newfoundland BMD's
« on: Wednesday 15 July 09 22:33 BST (UK) »
Not sure if this is in the right place!.

I am trying to get information on a serviceman in WW2 who was from Newfoundland, although I have no idea which part. The Canadian Service Records have been searched but he doesn't appear on them.
Has anyone got any idea where the BMD's might be held as at that time Newfoundland was part of Britain.

Mike

Here's a link to the thread in the Canada Resources section here at RootsChat regarding Newfoundland and Labrador:

You could also try the Newfoundland and Labrador GenWeb site:

Hi Jacquie

Thank you for the links, but unable to find anything.
It's possible that either the name is wrong or he wasn't from NL.
Back to the drawing board!.

Many thanks
Mike
