The Will (with three Codicils) of the Reverend Benjamin Nicholson White-Spunner formerly of Laurel-hill County Armagh and late of Mullaghmore Glebe Castlecaulfield County Tyrone Clerk who died 14 December 1891 at latter place was proved at Armagh by Sophia Elizabeth Merrin of Kinnegad Rectory County Westmeath David Basil Hewitt of Oakleigh Northwich Cheshire England M.D. and the Reverend Edward Carroll of Taney Dundrum County Dublin Clerk the Executors.

William Benjamin White-Spunner married Eva Kavanagh Quinlan on 3 September 1905 at Ballivor Parish Church, Co Meath. The two witnesses were Sophia Elizabeth Merrin (his sister) and Zoe Isabel Merrin (his niece). The minister was his brother-in-law R J Merrin.

....Sophia Merrin, nee WhiteSpunner. She married in 1891, the reverend Richard Merrin and my grandmother, Zoe Isabel Merrin was her eldest child. Damer and Irene were the other two children.
