Hi Audrey

There are a few possibles on the 1851 but not sure of her birthplace. Do you have her on the 1881 and afterwards with a PoB.

1871 census[ Holywell ]  living Whitford

1881 census [ WALES ]  living Durham

on IGI there is this one what do you think ?
Sarah Jones 6/9/1834 Mold
father John Jones
mother Elizabeth
this is not my side it is my husbands. Sarah was his great grandmother when my mother in law was still alive she was convinced that Sarah Jones mother was Elizabeth Foulks

Mayb be but Holywell and Llanasa   are a fair  bit from Mold. I'll have another look. Maybe the 1841 might have something.

Here's one on the 1841 in Whitford  that might be a possible. John is a lead ore miner:

HO107/1407 Bk 27 F 25 P 14

I'll keep looking

Hi Audrey

That last one that I gave on the 1841 seems to be the only one in the broad Holywell/Whitford/Llanasa area with a father John who's a miner.

thanks for the help but I don't have access to any census for wales  only the 1881 which I have on C.D.
been trawling for this Po's.marriage of Elizabeth Foulks to a John Jones . I have found one
st Georges Denbiegh
John Jones to Elizabeth Foulkes 24/7/1818
I was struck by the number of names that appear in Jemima and William Francis children 12.in total but only nine alive every one of the born in a different place with just a year or so in between
the second names of the children were
Ivor .Gwynfred .Victor . Morton .Jemima
I have read about the hardship of miners and there constant moving from one pit to the next given that all the family appear to be miners would it be feasible that Sarah's parents married in Denbigh I no nothing about Wales
