I am looking for any information on Charles Henry Fox and his wife Rachel Riddell,they were married according to the igi in 1870 in Tynemouth,
in the 1881 census the only match I can find is in Oldham,this states they were both born Lancashire,Rachel is the daughter of George Riddell and Mary Ann Watts,this is all I have at the moment till the marriage certificate arrives,

Was just going to say the IGI record is member-submitted and the 1870 marriage was to either Nicholas Galley or William Pryde ...

Nicholas Galley is shown married to a Mary J in 1881 and the 4th person on the page was a Mary Jane Banks, therefore Rachael Riddell probably married William Pryde

If you look at the other IGI entries for Charles Henry Fox, there is an ancestral file also member-submitted, giving the 1876 marriage, with lots more detail on the Fox-Riddell families

The Racheal Riddell daughter of George and Mary Ann was born in North Shields 1849, so I trust she's the one who marries William Pryde.

...which is what I meant, and just shows how much to trust conflicting member-submitted entries on the IGI  and the importance of checking freebmd etc for marriages and spouses ;)

according to the ancestral file, that Rachel's parents were George William Riddell and Sarah Elizabeth nee Mace  - all in Oldham - and it shows the 1876 marriage found by Stan.
