Poor quality scan begging for help

Please everyone, DON'T waste your time if nothing can be done ...

I found this image in an old book on Newton Heath & already the original was in very bad condition ... scanning has not improved matters. Can anything be done to make the scene cleaner & sharper? If not, don't worry!

The old family home from the mid-1880's thru' to sometime in the mid-1900's is next to the church ... the Manor Inn mentioned (across the road) came into the family later on thru' marriage ...

I never believed that I would stumble on such a document ... have been gazing at it ever since it arrived this morning ... going dotty in my old age
