Royal Navy 1917
« on: Sunday 02 August 09 10:06 BST (UK) »
I have a Thomas Flood, Petty officer Stoker, serv. no 288817
date of death 10/4/1917,  i found his details on the CWG site, but i also have a memorial card where it says Thomas Flood who lost his life in the Channel on HMS. P 26, April ,10, 1917, aged 40 years.
How would i find out what a HMS P 26 was, and what happened to it ?
                  Thank You, bodger

I'd have thought it was the name of his vessel.

Glad to be able to find that extra clue;
I can't say that I'd seen that site before, but I can see me visiting it again...
