This document contains three birth records,  I am interested in the central one.

It is written in Bastard Secretary, or similar.  Seldom has a script been more aptly named.

I have an idea of what most of it says, but I will not sway your judgement.

Really not sure about the woman Sheill's first name - it looks like there might be a contraction at the end of the name, but I can't think what it can be.  Also, I'm not sure of Andrew's surname - it definitely looks like [...]angits[...] and again there's a contraction so the 'o', if it does end in 'sone' could be missing.

The only surname I could find in Black's Surnames of Scotland which was similar was of course Hamilton, though there is no 'g'.  There is Hangingshaw, but it's not that.

Is this Nidrie Midlothian, Liberton parish?  If so, I'd guess that the second witness' surname was Hangitsyde - later usually spelled "Handyside".  Lots of Handysides in Liberton and I have (somewhere) a lot of printouts mentioning Handyside - probably from a later date though as I don't recognise this style from 1632.
Will have  a look for them and add more if any of it seems to help.
