. They were both born in Widnes.
The siblings that were living in 1911 were as follows;
George Hugh BELLIS living at 174 Boundary Road, St Helens with his wife and eight children.
Josiah BELLIS living at 14 Carlile Street, Widnes with his wife and six children.
Sarah Jane PERCY nee BELLIS living at 110 Alder Lane, Hindley, Wigan with her husband and six children.
Alfred BELLIS on board the 'IVERNIA' on the way to Chicago, Illinois, USA. His wife Kate BELLIS nee ANDERSON was living at 64 Campbell Street, St Helens, Lancs with three children.
Henry BELLIS living at 113 Cliffe Road, Strood, Kent with his wife and daughter.
All other sibling had died pre 1911 and Anne Maria BELLIS and Arthur weren't with any of them.
I also have a transcript of their father's will which reads as follows;
THE WILL OF JOSIAH HUGH BELLIS
This is the last will and testament of Josiah Hugh Bellis of 25 Elliot St Widnes in the county of Lancashire made this seventh day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and one.
I hereby revoke all wills by me at any time heretofore made.
I appoint George Hugh Bellis of 169 Cambridge Rd St Helens lancashire to be my executor,and I direct that all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expences shall be paid as soon as possible after my decease.
I hereby give and bequeath unto my children George Hugh, Josiah, Sarah Jane, Arthur, Annie Maria, Alfred and Henry, the whole of my property ,consisting of cash in the Manchester and Salford Bank and death and burial funds and household goods in equal proportion, or ,should any predecease me,the above properties to be equally divided among the then living, but I hereby require that an invntory of my household goods should be taken and kept by my son, George Hugh Bellis,and that my children Annie Maria, Arthur and Alfred should have the use of the entire household goods until they, by mutual consent, agree to break up the house . Then should the above household goods be sold by public auction, and the money realized be equally divided.
Should anything arise that causes my eldest son, George Hugh Bellis, to vary this arrangement for the disposal of my furniture, I hereby give him full power to do so
