Devon parish records fiches etc where do I get them? COMPLETED.

Hi,

This may be a dumb question, but where can I buy full sets of parish records?  I've just bought DFHS Totnes Diocese CD and was surprised to find not all entries included.  I have a separate database for cross referencing which seemed to have entries missing from the Totnes CD.

I'd like the 17th-early 18thC  entries for parishes in Totnes diocese - the CD only has marriages from 1752, and no early baptisms or burials as early - but I can't seem to find any early resources for sale on DFHS website or Devon Record Office.  I've asked for OPC look ups, but would like to obtain source material for myself.  I understand that microfiche sets were for sale but I can't seem to find them.

You can buy PRs on fiche from the Devon Record Office. There is a charge of £5 per register plus £1.50 per fiche. The DFHS CDs contain marriages 1754-1837, baptisms 1813-1839 and burials 1813-1837, all transcribed from the parish registers, but not from the Bishop's Transcripts.

That explains it  - my extra entries must have been BT's.
