She may have married John McCLOUD at Crosscanonby/Maryport in 1772.

Hi Geoff-e, Thank you for the info. I don't suppose you could tell me what happened to Ruth Anne Irwin b.1871 Ponsonby, daughter of Margaret Mary Irwin b.1851. There is no father mentioned? Thank You

Marriages Dec 1896
IRWIN    Ruth Annie        Whitehaven    10b   1085
McBRYDE    Francis         Whitehaven    10b   1085

1901
29 York Road, Erdington, Warwickshire
Frank McBRYDE 27 Manager Tea Shop, Cumb Greysouthen
Ruth 27 Seascale

1911
Still in Warwickshire, both aged 38, no kids.

Assuming there was only one Ruth IRWIN, in 1891 she appeared as 18 year old daughter of Wm and Christian IRWIN at Gosforth.

I have yet to spot her in 1881.
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.
