I suppose you have him on all census????

Have you looked at directories?

By the way, it looks like his birth was registered as herbert harry baker (not Henry)?

Wonder if Herbert and mary married in Ireland ??

They certainly moved around

mary Adelaide was b County Cork

the first 2 children were b Dublin, then other children were born Surrey, brentford Mddsx, Margate kent, and Congleton Cheshire
there is a niece living with them on one census who was b East Indies and in another census a grandmother b Dublin

Wonder if herbert Harry was in the armed forces when he married?????

What was Blanche's married name ??

I have found a picture of the pub in 1907 - with a lady with the initials BB standing outside - cannot read name of licencee

BB could be Blanche Baker - but your theory that blanche and her husband helped at the pub would not be so in 1907 as Blanche was not married at that time

Trying hard to build up a picture for you - but can't find herbert in directories and his name doesn't appear in the list of licensees for the Olde Queens head?????

Do you have any other information???

i have zoomed in on the license above the pub door and it says herbert baker...the lady is blanche baker outside the door and apparently the owners were`nt sure who owned the pub in 1907 which is why i think its him....yeh it was just blanche that helped her dad out her and her husband helped her brother out at a different pub that was my mistake sorry....i spoke to my nannas cousin aswell and he said that herbert did own the pub....thanks for ur help anyway... ;D
