I have a half uncle, the above. He seems to have dipped off the radar in the UK post the 1911 census. Rumour as it that he went to the Channel Islands with the Salvation Army as a young man, and has not been seen since. His parents were:- Harold William Pearson and Bertha Emily nee Halls of Essex, England. I tried contacting the Salvation Army, but got no reply. Hoping Rootschat can help.
