William and Grace Murray
« on: Monday 17 August 09 13:28 BST (UK) »
I was wondering if anyone had any information on William and Grace Murray of Aberdeen. They had a son Henry Grant Murray born in 1838 (in Aberdeen) who immigrated to South Africa in 1856.

Many thanks

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan

What information do you have on the family so far. Their 1841 census entry shows in Old Marchar (you can view this on http://freecen.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl

A number of children show to William and Grace (maiden name COW) on IGI www.familysearch.org, including Henry's christening in 1839.

Not so sure about the wizz, more genealogy mad  ;D

Where are you on your research? If you indicate what you have so far, then people are best placed to fill in the gaps  :)
