William H Bean Cameronians

W H Bean was in Cameronians died  23 May 1917 in Scotland Buried in Sutton in Asfield given a full military hounours burial.Can any one tell me what happened in Scotland and was it normall to get a  full military honours burial. thank's  Wendi
