Cougar, Is it possible the record in Feb 1680 for Luman? could in fact be Luffman?

Sorry, amazing when you go back and see the same entry another time, it actually reads PITMAN -
If you have info on your LUFFMAN's, ie. parents names or child's name let me know and I can go back and try to re-read the faded ones.

Have nothing this early, I know they were at Wincanton in the late 18th/early 19th centuries. I have them at Oborne from 1718, but have lost track of them earlier. Just hoping that they were at Wincanton before they were at Oborne. Have some Pitman's in the tree, marrying in. Will have a look and post the Wincanton stuff on thanks for offer.

Will keep a lookout for you, I've still not finished the first fiche, there are still 2 more to do - then I will start on North Cadbury.   Will let you know if I find them.
Pitmans, there seem to be plenty, so hopefully at least one will be yours.

Thanks for that Cougar, Pitman is relatively common, unfortunately Luffman isn't, but at least when I find one I know he (or she) is mine.
