Looking for Trevor Allen born 1926 Tamworth

Trevor Allen's parents were John William Allen & Lily Rollason. After his father died & his mother remarried, his elder brother Ivor John (known as Jack) left home & settled in Scotland never to return back to England.  Trevor & Jack met during the war when Jack was a paratrooper & Trevor was in the navy but no other contact was made as Jack never wanted to go back to England.  Unfortunately Jack is now dead & his sons in Scotland can trace the Rollasons but since there are so many John William Allens in the area, it is proving difficult to trace the Allen line.

John William Allen & Lily Rollason married on 25 October 1924 in Tamworth.  They were both living at 15 Parson Street where Jack was subsequently born & they gave their ages as 32 & 17 stating that both parents were dead.  Jack may not have given his true age.

Any help would be much appreciated by Jack's sons as they would like to know their heritage,

Have you tried a "letter to the Editor" of the Tamworth Herald.

I had exceptional good luck when I wrote to a local newspaper.

There is a death recorded in September 2000 in Hull for a Trevor Allen born 5 April 1926.

Not exactly close to Tamworth, but like me, he may moved away from the area.
