Nice find Carol. 

This would make the couple in their late 60's.

Not impossible though.

It happened to the grandparents of a close friend of mine-married in their 60's.
The reason was, that he had been married before and was not free to marry the mother of his 6 children  until after wife number one died. We are presuming that they had separated some years before.

Hello folks,

Thank you folks for taking a look at this.

I have had a look at the 1911 census and I think the same family are living at 6 Gilbert Terrace, St James. However Harry from Piddington has become Henry [might be a transcription error] and still with Emma from Ravensthorpe and there are some extra additions to the family.

It says though that they have been married for 23 years but as you say may not be in the official sense.

I have seen the same marriage on freeBMD but no earlier marriage. From the contact I have on GenesReunited there is definitely a Bounds connection.
