Searching for any information regarding the family of John Dalgety Cable and his wife, Frances Stamford and his de facto wife Ann Brown.

There were 4 children however one Edith was Ann's child and not Johns.
Keen to share information with other researchers.

What kind of timeframe are you looking at here with this family please??  It will help us to help you if we know whether it is recent or not.

I have seen a marriage on FreeBMD for 1883 which I think is the one between John and Frances in St Albans... would that be right??

Hello Karenlee,
Yes that is his marriage.
I am seeking info about John and Frances's daughter Florence Ellen Cable who married Alexander Wheatley in 1909 and apparently they had 2 children.

Also what happened to John's sister Agnes Morgan Cable who married Samuel Yates Johnson in 1880 and althought they appear in the 1881 census in Hackney, they then disappear.

Hi

The 1901 Census shows a Frances E CABLE and  a Florence E CABLE both in London working in the same household.  Do you have this information?  If not I will be happy to post it here for you.

I will check and see what I can find about her after that... and also for Agnes and Samuel as well.

1911 Census Index has Florence Ellen WHEATLEY born 1884, Alexander McIntosh WHEATLEY born 1884, Alexander McIntosh WHEATLEY born 1911 and Dorothy Lillian WHEATLEY born 1910 all living in Southwark London.

FreeBMD also show the birth of James J WHEATLEY born 1912 Southward mother's maiden name CABLE

There are another 2 births in Stoke on Trent for Frederick WHEATLEY born 1918 mother's maiden name CABLE  and  Nelly WHEATLEY born 1920 mother's maiden name CABLE.

There were more children born in Stoke....

WHEATLEY Cyril and Frank twins
WHEATLEY June

All with mother's maiden name of CABLE

Not having any luck with Agnes though...perhaps they emigrated?
