Name of the road please?

hi all,

I'm having a problem reading the road name, hoping someone might be able shed some light on it  :D

Alfred Sidney King born 1876 Southsea Hants

transcribed on Ancestry as Alfred Jekheny King living in Bristol
RG13/2367 F/ 83 p/18

Normanton Road maybe?  :)

thanks Tati, I've gone up and down the neighbouring  images and it seems to change!

sometimes, it looks like the end of the name  is ....peter  but I'm not sure

Google maps finds Normanton Rd Bristol just off Worral Rd, which also appears on the previous census page

If it is Normanton Road (?), there are 16 in the UK, all in England.

Hibee
Midlothian: Adam(s), Meikle/Muckle
Leith: Bridges
Edinburgh: Brown
Prestonpans: Bird, Inglis
Fife: Wemyss
Orkney: Brock
Ireland: Sweeney

Well, at least we know we're looking at Clifton, Bristol  ;D

Have a look at the description of the enumeration district, jc - I think it's clearer. The places mentioned - Upper Belgrave Rd, Anglesea Place, Downside Rd, Sutherland Pl, Beaconsfield Rd, Hughenden Rd - help narrow it down on a modern map  :)

Will look at the enumeration sheet,  and will google Worrel Road to see it makes it any easier
