Albert Family - Jersey 1850 - 1880

I am trying to find information on a member of the  Albert family from Jersey.

Thomas Albert (1824) married Eliza ? and was a Master Butcher in St Helier.
1881 census.  They had four sons,William(1854), Alfred, Walter and Arthur.   William is the subject of my investigations as he married by maternal great grandmother Nellie Mellish in Plymouth, Devon around 1900.

He doesn't appear on the any census from 1861 - 1901 when he turns up in Plymouth. His youngest brother is also on that census shown as married to an Alice Jane Quenault.

Is any one researching this family that could help please.

Seems Thomas was married to jane before Eliza??

so there are a few questions
where was walter in 1871?
Alfred F age 3 in 1851 -did he die?

Thanks for all the info.   In 1899 a William Albert married my great grandmother Nellie Mellish(nee Pointon) after her husband died.  The child Alfreda is actually a Mellish as she was never legally adopted.   If it is the same man, and I suspect it is as my elderly aunt remembers him and his brother Arthur, he "left" Jersey, changed profession and came to the mainland, settleing in Plymouth, did he leave a wife behind.....?

I wondered if maybe mary who is an inmate in the house of mercy in Bucks is William's first wife

I cannot find a death for her

nor can I find william in 1891???
