Welcome to Rootschat but you do need to give us more details so that we can try to help you. When was Barnabus born? Does his marriage or death certificate list names of parents or any family details?
Civil registration of births in Ireland started in 1864 so if Barnabus was born before that date you will need to search for church records but to do so you'll need to know both the family's religion and where they lived (parish- either civil or religious, if not actual townland) then see what records survive.

Well before the start of civil registration then so you need to search for church records- see my 1st post- but it may be that many records from pre-1800 no longer exist.
