Hi Paul

Did you ever find where your man was buried, and if, how?

I have the same problem as you, a man who died in a cab, Marylebone, who supposedly may had lived in St.Pancras, I have hunted and ferretted around for ages, but still can't find him.

Of course, dying in a street, doesn't mean they live in the area.  Unless, you like me have a fairly good idea of the area.

Cait

Hi

I don't know any cemeteries in the London area whose registers have necessary been lost, even if the gravestones have been taken down from a few cemeteries and they have become green areas.

see the new guide on the London and Middlesex board

A GUIDE TO BURIALS IN THE LONDON AREA

Hi

The guide on the London and Middlesex board gives all the weblinks to the London cemeteries if they are independently managed, if they have websites, or to the London local authorities that manage them. In the case of St Pancras and Islington they are jointly managed by Camden and Islington. Follow the link given for the phone, fax and email address.

Hi
John Charles Adrian Duvall may be buried in Norwood Cemetery Norwood Road Lambeth. I say this because Ancestry.co.uk has a record of the burial of his second wife Eleanor Frances there in September 1867. Eleanor Frances's maiden name was O Hara and she was the daughter of Daniel O Hara. Daniel O Hara was a brother of my gr gr grandfather Henry O Hara
