An article from the Naugatuck (Conn.) Daily News from 24 Nov. 1952 says that the four Protestant Churches will hold their annual United Thanksgiving Eve service at Seymour Methodist Church and Rev. Arthur Dewberry of Derby, a retired Methodist minister, will deliver the sermon.

An article from 16 Feb. 1924 from the Bridgeport Telegram states that Rev. Dewberry was leading a course at the School of Religious Education being conducted at the First Methodist Church.

A 31 Dec. 1923 article from the Bridgeport Telegram says that Rev. A.B. Dewberry was leading a course on religious education and was taking post-graduate work at the Hartford School of Religious Pedagogy.

There is a Betsey Dewberry listed buried on this index, who might be a match:  http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~rigenweb/cemetery//cemetery108.html

Seems to be someone who has Betsey on their tree:  http://worldconnect.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=jonsaunders&id=I104507

Hi shellyesq and merjones,
Wow!! what do I say, this is fantastic information on Arthur the son of Alfred a store keeper in Hull Yorkshire.
Arthurs wife name was Betsey Lewis, I had know idea she was from Rhode Island.
Arthur was well accomplished, and this was a pleasure to recieve and read.
Your help is invaluable, I take my hat off to you both, in making a family members history come to light, and be recognized.
Best Regards
Kovel.

 Edit : Betsey Lewis Kenyon
