Residing at 17 James Street, Brithdir, Glam on the 1901 census was Cabel Green, head, 39, coal hewer, born Treorchy and Sarah his wife, 35, born Dowlais with daug Elizabeth, 16, b. Tylerstown; daug Barbara E., 14, b. Trealaw; daug Rachel age 10 born Pontlottyn and son William aged 11, born Pontlottyn.

Thanks Steven
Details are very much appreciated.  Would it be pushing it if I asked if you could find him on the 1871/1861 with his parents ???

Came back for a quick look and found him on 1861, well am sure it's him

1861 Wales Census Calop Green aged 7

Bit of  a ripped census, but it's in Treorchy

John Green 28          Collier                                    Norton Somerset
Sarah Green 29                                            Bryn Mawr, Breconshire
James Green 7                                                Newbrien(?) Glamorgan
John Green 4                                                       do
Calop Green 7                  Treorchy
Jacob Green 59 visitor   Collier                                     Boston, Somerset
Sarah Green  59 visitor                                       Coecppt(?) Somerset
Calep Parfitt 19 visitor                                         Dines Glamorgan

I found reading the actual census a bit of a job, the transcription obviously has it's faults.

I think the age of Caolp Green 7 should read 1 as it ties in with BMD birth of Caleb Green Q4 1860 Merthyr Tydfil.  Nearly Matching the first name of Parfitt
