I have had a look at the NBI and there are no entries for her in the Birmingham area - which I am guessing at in view of your listed research names and areas.   If there is a likelihood of her having died elsewhere let me know and I will check again.

she was born 1832 so she would of been 69 her maiden name was hewitt and she married a nicholls in handsworth/aston area of birmingham thank you for your help

In the 1901 census index there is a Louisa Nicholls in Handsworth of about the right age who is a nurse.  Is this her?  You say she was alive in 1901.  Do you know where she was born in 1832?   I also looked under Nichols but no luck.   I shouldn't worry if you can't find her - deaths are the least important in some ways - particularly in old age!
