My grandfather was Harry Thomas Timson of Ware. For a time his father was the lock-keeper at Ware. I saw an exchange about an earlier Harry Timson of Ware, whose mother's name was Rebecca, and became interested. (My name is Rebecca Timson.) My grandfather ran off to Canada when he was still a teen, and later moved to Washington state in the US, but his sisters lived into old age at a house in Barnstaple that belonged to my grandfather's stepfather, the man who married his mother after his father died. I wrote to the sisters when I was still a child. Obviously I need to learn more about names and dates. Anybody have some good information for me?
