Can someone help me with tracing Horace F Everett who in 1953 lived in Sherwood Road Nottingham.

Thats all the information I have on him I'm afraid.

As recent as this I'd think the local radio station would be a good bet.

This is a possible death Cynfelin. If you knew age or date of birth could tie it in.

Hi,

FreeBMD has a birth (1908) and a possible marriage (1935) for a Horace Frederick Everett but both in Poplar.   :-\

That could be right Nanny Jan as in 1911 only a Horace George in Nottinghamshire.

Hi Both,
Thanks for your searches. Horace Frederick Everett born Poplar doesn't seem to be the right person as he married there and the first child was born there he married Louisa M Mead and the first child was Ann L Everett born 1939.

Is Everett a common name in Nottinghamshire?

What information does the local library hold? IDEAS please. ::)

Hi,

I wonder if your Horace F Everett was born elsewhere; perhaps Scotland/Ireland/abroad.    :-\

A general search on FreeBMD for a Horace F Everett just returns the 2 events in Poplar.

Have you searched the Electoral Roll for him? The library might not have them for 1950s but the county record office/history centre should.

Hi cynfelin, do you mean it is the right person?

Also Everett is not common in Nottingham, but there are a good few about. I worked with one many years ago.

Hi Skewy,

I think that Horace Stuart Everett was Horace F Everett's father. Horace senior was born in Sutton Surrey and was a lace agent. In 1911 Horace Stuart Everett lived at 73 Heald Place Moss Side Chorlton  Lancashire, he was aged 28 and single.

Can you help with a look up bmd in the Nottingham areaplease.
