Hello.
I'm seeking help with Samuel Thomas Parsons born 1838 Romford and Rachel Palmer born abt 1841.
They married 1859 Romford, emigrated to New Zealand 1874.
I would appreciate any help.

Rachel is also shown as b Romford 1838/39 in 1861 but no freebmd entry and I cannot find her in 1841/51

Do you have a copy of their marriage cert showing their fathers names?

There is this 1841 entry for Chelmsford - all born in Essex

Either this or 1851 Census has Johns name transcribed incorrectly. Probably the Census as enumerarators often misheard.

Hi Again,

There is a Tree on Ancestry that had Rachaels parents as James and Amy Palmer but I have found no evidence to support this. She is not with them on 1851 Census. I cant find them 1841 though.

You really need to purchase the marriage cert as Carole said to get parents names.
