Hi my GGG grandma was Catherine Millar Born 1786 Brackfield Lower Cumber.
Her father was said to be a farmer at Brackfield but I do not know her parents names.
Catherine Millar married William Dunn of Ardground, they had at least 10 sons and 3 daughters.
Catherine died in 1864 at Ardground. Burial info not found.
In 1849 a wedding took place Elizabeth Millar to James Lithgow. The father of Elizabeth was listed as Robert Millar at Brackfield. He could be a brother of Catherine. The witness on the wedding cert was Jane Dunn, Catherine's daughter so I suspect Elizabeth Millar is a cousin of Catherine.
I can not find any other clues, please help me to solve the mystery of who her parents were.
