1891 and 1901 Census look up HALL

It would be gratefully appreciated if anyone is able to look up the census for the following two persons:

1891 and 1901 Census

William Thomas Hall Born December 1891 Sunderland


1901 Census

Eleanor Hall Born March 1901 South Shields

William b. Dec 1891 won't appear on the 1891 census.  Where did you find his birth record?
There are 2 William Thomas Halls on the 1901 census b. Sunderland, with parents     Joseph W and Frances E, or parents   Thomas and Jane A


I can only see a birth record for an Eleanor Hall born Jun Qu 1901 South Shields, again too late for the 1901 census

Are you sure of their birth dates, and any idea of their parents' names?

Thanks I thought I had asked for a lookup on Eleanor already.   Thanks Sorry about that.  I have just got both death certificates today so really excited to have confirmed a few things......

I've just death certificates through so I was tallying up my dates now.  It has confirmed his date of birth and where he was born which I have stated.

No it doesn't really help, as I said earlier there are a couple of William Thomas Halls born Sunderland 1891, so you would need his marriage certificate (if he married), to find his father's name and occupation, which would help find him in 1901, or his birth certificate, and you won't know if you've got the right birth cert without knowing who his parents were.

Do you have any idea of his parents' names, or do you the names of any brothers or sisters he may have had?

Have you looked at the 1911 census for him?

Yes, the 1911 census says Joseph and Francis.  If you could check that one out. 

I'll have to see if I can get the marriage cert just to confirm that I am on the right path.

If Thomas is the son of Joseph and Frances, then he was born before December 1891, because he appears on the 1891 census!!
