Hello All


I have a request for anyone with a Vic deaths database. I have found two FOLEY females who are probably connected to RYANs. If someone could check parents of these for me it would be much appreciated.

Honora FOLEY d1924 aged 59
Sarah Jane FOLEY  d1925 aged65

Honora FOLEY aged 60 died in 1924 at BGO.
Ref = 13002
Parents listed as Edmund FOLEY & Isabel MCCALL


Sarah Jane FOLEY has the same parents, but the mother’s name is spelt MCCOLL.
Ref = 4105
Aged 65 and died in 1925 at BGO.

One more request if anyone could do a look up - does marriage database name parents? If so I would love to know parents of Bridget HENNESSEY/HENNESSY married Ed Gubbins RYAN in 1857.

I am so grateful for extra information I have found in the last month thanks to Rootsweb contributors - wish I'd joined sooner!

Hi All

Lucky enough to be heading to Ireland today!  Will watch the Irish beat the Wallabies (as the only kiwi in the group going I have to say that) in Dublin and will then head up to Limmerick and Tipperary to do some research - especially Winifred and George  Moran (their son Daniel married Lucy Ryan), Ryans and Gubbins.  If anyone has particular research centres, churches or people they can recommend please let me know.

Cashel Emly parish records are held at Tipperary Family History Unit - there is no facility for personal research but you can commission research and collect it later.
