1871 census lookup request
« on: Saturday 05 March 05 10:32 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
can anyone find this man and his family on the 1871 census for me?
They are very probably in Berwick.

John Charles CAREY-aged about 21-may be a mariner-born BERWICK.

Many thanks to anyone who can help me.
Trisha

Hi Helen and Joe,
thanks very much for all that info. It's going to prove extremely useful.
I'm half persuaded by your find because John Carey was a mariner. However as far as I know he wasn't born in Liverpool.I'll have to look at my records again.
Thanks to you both,
Trisha :) :)
