Parents wedding day photo *Completed*
« on: Tuesday 15 September 09 11:04 BST (UK) »
This is the only photo I have from my late parents wedding day in 1949. Can anyone help improve the image or even add some colour?
Any help appreciated
Thanks

Hi Pat,

This is only 72dpi and close up it’s heavily pixilated. If you can re-scan at 300dpi and in colour even if it’s b/w it will give the restores better quality to work with and the end results will be much better.
Please scan photos at 300dpi or higher. Thank you.

Agreement with Old Hippy
Resolution very low - higher would give better restore and colour

Hippy :) :) :)
Please scan all photographs at 300-600 dpi.
Please feel free to colour/modify any restores posted by me.
An acknowledgement would be much appreciated.

i just couldnt see it properly so I played a little with artistic licence -- this is just for fun till you get the size sorted then you will get some really good ones.

I am learning the hard way, hopefully the tutorials have pointed me in the right direction
This should be a more workable image with higher dpi
Thanks again
